Then I realized what I was doing and forced myself to stop. My teenage son has the appetite of a toddler, the energy of a gazelle, and ribs that I can see through his t-shirt, but he's healthy, and I guess I need to just eat my mouth shut about eating. Or keep it busy just eating my own damn green beans!for a different kind of girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04431273646365489225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7670512488001349318.post-37573993113084089522011-11-09T10:55:07.726-07:002011-11-09T10:55:07.726-07:00Just glad to know my kid is in good company. :)Just glad to know my kid is in good company. :)KellyDovehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15703780202139367558noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7670512488001349318.post-71753789857541039082011-11-08T15:23:32.285-07:002011-11-08T15:23:32.285-07:00If nothing else, you can always take comfort in th...If nothing else, you can always take comfort in the fact that I am joining you for midnight snacks.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7670512488001349318.post-68736673818782700712011-11-08T13:32:56.185-07:002011-11-08T13:32:56.185-07:00Luli is the same. We keep food in the feeder outside and food in the house and she has always known there will be food when she needs it. She does not overeat, though she will beg special treats. My friends pets are obese and lazy and are only allowed to eat once or twice a day then the food bowl is removed.Granny Anniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18165058412950953296noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7670512488001349318.post-61229511429927143792011-11-07T21:13:41.146-07:002011-11-07T21:13:41.146-07:00The cutest picture ever!!

You are doing the right thing, don't make it a battlefield. Don't force her to eat, be strong but don't let her just indulge in eating crap and nothing else. A WEEK. That they can live healthily like that. And I stopped worrying. He existed on a lot of pasta and when I truly counted he ate probably six reasonable meals in a week. I think it's a good idea to just back off ... Make sure most of what you offer is healthy and them don't worry. For the record mine is now nearly six and healthy as a horse. :)Geniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05093379762278904887noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7670512488001349318.post-12931551222745549612011-11-07T09:21:41.935-07:002011-11-07T09:21:41.935-07:00Food wars are right a t the top of my "Things...Food wars are right a t the top of my "Things I Hate About Parenting" list.
